Welcome to the Trek Brazil website!
We journey to the Northeast region of Brazil to Chapada Diamantina National Park, where we will embark on a superb trekking challenge to discover the beauty of the ‘Lost World’. This has to be one of the most breathtaking and fascinating treks Brazil has to offer!
In the early 19th century, prospectors discovered a huge vein of diamonds in a region of unusual rock formations. Chapada Diamantina National Park, also known as Brazil’s ‘Lost World’, was opened in 1985 after being off-limits and secret for many years to prevent diamond smuggling.
Our extraordinary adventure will taking us exploring stunning underground waterfalls and caves, subterranean rivers, amazing rock formations, mountains called morros and above all some fantastic and challenging treks!
The challenge is very exclusive and we will be staying in the local native’s houses (Pousada’s) all the way through our trek, which will give us a true insight as to how the local’s live.
Our expedition comes to an end with some free time to explore Salvador, nicknamed Brazil’s capital of happiness because of the easygoing population, countless outdoor parties, stunning beaches and colonial charm.
