The Children's Adventure Farm Trust
The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust cannot totally change the reality of a seriously ill or disadvantaged child’s life, but we believe it can offer some happy experiences that will make a difference to their view of what life can hold.
It is the happy memories a child can cherish and re-live in their darkest times that really matters. If a child leaves with that, then we have truly achieved something.
Changing a life may not be possible, but making a difference is.
Time spent at our old and welcoming Cheshire farmhouse, with the animals, in the adventure playground or in any of the activity rooms helps to build happy memories for terminally ill, chronically sick, disabled or disadvantaged children from across the UK and with your help we can continue to provide those happy memories for more children for more of the time.
You might think you can’t make a difference, but you can!
The Children’s Adventure Farm is a magical special place, it offers a lifeline to children who are in desperate need. The children who visit the Adventure Farm are terminally ill, chronically sick, disabled or disadvantaged.
The Adventure Farm offers them a chance to forget the troubles in their little lives and opens an opportunity to do some exciting things that can build happy memories ... memories that can be re-lived time and time again to help lighten each following day.
We know that time spent at the Adventure Farm makes a huge difference in the lives of the 3,000 children who visit us annually, because they tell us it does ... and we can see the difference in their behaviour and happy chatter. That’s the good news!
Now for the bad news – none of this comes for free ... The Children’s Adventure Farm is totally dependent upon voluntary donations from people such as you, so every penny counts ... but pounds are much better. It costs £750,000 to keep the Children’s Adventure Farm open each year, so by joining the Grand Canyon Caper you can make a real difference.
The Children’s Adventure Farm – working with special children for a brighter future and a brighter now.
