MEGAHIKE - The Challenge - It's Simple

We are not going to lie to you, MEGAHIKE is an exceptionally challenging 50 mile team event set in the heart of the Pennines. This monster 50 mile hike will begin at day break on the 26th June 2010 from Hollingworth Lake in Littleborough. The route will test you and your team both physically and mentally as you trek along sections of the ‘backbone of England’ the Pennine Way.

It’s all about Teamwork…
Success on this challenge is all about team work. From the moment that you register you will need to work as a team. You will need to train and prepare as a team and fundraise as a team. It’s this bond that is built and developed in the lead up to the event that will enable you to successfully complete and maybe even beat MEGAHIKE.

Your team needs to be prepared to push the boundaries, to encourage and motivate each other and by working together you will drive each other on to maximise your chance of success when taking on MEGAHIKE.

Who can take part...
MEGAHIKE is open to all people from 17 years of age and over (16 years of age if accompanied by an adult). This challenging endurance team event is open to friends, clubs and social groups. It is an ideal opportunity for corporate organisations looking to create team bonding or just some light hearted internal rivalry between departments, offices or stores!
