Veniños Vice - Chair, Lisa Tylee MBE, is taking on the challenge of her lifetime by cycling across America to help raise awareness of the charity. Brave Lisa will be on her bike for 171 days, cycling across 24 states and will cover a total of 8,473 miles!

Joining her on the Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon leg of this ultimate cycle challenge will be Amanda Lamb - Presenter of "A Place in the Sun." They will be cycling from the bright lights of Las Vegas, in the Nevada desert, to the iconic majesty of Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona.

The challenge begins over the high desert leaving Las Vegas, they will head east into Arizona and climb onward to the pine forested high elevation plateaus which create the Grand Canyon's rim country.

Each day a new and challenging road waits as they cycle over 300 miles of beautiful landscape, on their way to Grand Canyon National Park. This is going to be a truly breathtaking cycling adventure.
